The last episode of Gilmore Girls was a wonderful episode, although it was sad to see it knowing it was going to be the last. The episode began with Rory in her pajamas meeting CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour. Lorelai and Rory had planned a summer tour but Rory has to postpone the trip because of a surprise job offer covering Barack Obama’s campaign for an online magazine located in Eldridge Iowa. She has to leave in 3 days and it breaks all of Stars Hollow’s hearts.

Luke puts together a bon voyage party for Rory and Lorelai stays very busy trying to keep her mind off of the sadness and feelings of falling apart she feels. Rory has a panic attack when thinking about leaving everything she knows and loves behind and Lane comes to the rescue and consoles her.

Babette’s ankles tell her that there is going to be a huge rainstorm so Luke spends the last night before the party sewing up a tent to keep the party attendees dry. When Lorelai finds out what Luke has done she has an unexpected reaction and the two share a passionate kiss.

Lorelai decides to continue the Friday night dinners at her parent’s house and Emily is pleased that she does. On the morning of Rory’s departure Luke opens the diner early so that the Gilmore Girls can share one more special breakfast together.

The movie The post-grad Survival guide stars Alexis Bledel and is due out in the fall. Michael Keaton plays Burnett’s son and Alexis plays her grand daughter.  The family is a kind of crazy family, with the exception being the character played by Alexis.

Cupid has now struck the celebrities Milo Ventimiglia and his Heroes costar Hayden Panettiere who are now making their twosome quite public. The famous Jess Mariano of the long running and Emmy award winning The Gilmore Girls, now seems to be making the much-discussed switch over to Panettiere from his earlier flame, Alexis Bledel.

What’s more! Even the family’s involved in this one! Milo has been seen spending quite some time with Hayden Panettiere’s family. In fact, Hayden’s mom has even been going around talking of Milo as her boyfriend and showing him off to her friends. Milo, the strapping handsome actor from The Gilmore Girls has even formed good buddies with her younger brother, joking around and having a good time with him.

The couple earlier stirred up controversies when they cozied up at the Emmys in September and also started appearing for various publicity events together. However, as is the case always, they were almost denying any romantic infusion till recently. That of course, stands negated at the public display of affection and Milo’s numerable visits to her family!

Already signed up for the show is Michael Keaton, Carol Burnett and Rodrigo Santoro.

Alexis Stars as Ryden Malbey who has recently graduated from college and has to move back home with her family. There are so many things she needs to do, find a job, get married, but more importantly find out what direction her life is heading in. This whilst living at home with her eccentric family.

We are not sure what role Keaton and Burnett are playing but it might be fun to speculate? any ideas I would love to hear your comments.
